The Inspection
A quality home inspection typically takes 2 to 3 hours. Older homes, with potentially more problems, may take longer. You will get the most out of your inspection if you can accompany me during the entire inspection. In this way we can discuss any issues as they are uncovered. When you read the final report, you will already have an idea of where any problems are. It is also a good time to get a more detailed look throughout the house.
A complete inspection includes a visually unobtrusive examination of the building from top to bottom. I will operate each and every major system in the property by normal operating controls. Produce a thorough, detailed report of any findings that are internet accessible when complete. I will answer any question you will have before, during and after the inspection.
If any items of special concern should be brought up. I will be glad to review these items during the course of the inspection.
Don't hesitate to ask lots of questions. I will be glad to take the time to explain proper maintenance and operating procedures for many of the components of the house.
